Jerome A. Cohen is professor emeritus at New York University School of Law and the founder and faculty director emeritus of the U.S.-Asia Law Institute. He also serves as an adjunct senior fellow for Asia studies at the Council on Foreign Relations. A longtime expert on Chinese law, Cohen has authored several books and spent many years practicing law with a focus on China.
