Katharina Galor is the Hirschfield Senior Lecturer in Judaic Studies at Brown University. Born in Germany to parents who fled communist Romania, she has authored or coauthored four books and contributes to media outlets including NPR, the Forward, Die Zeit, and National Geographic.
