Lawrence J. Haas is an award-winning journalist and former senior White House official, currently serving as a senior fellow at the American Foreign Policy Council. A prominent columnist on foreign affairs and a frequent TV and radio commentator, Haas has authored six books, including Harry and Arthur: Truman, Vandenberg, and the Partnership That Created the Free World, which was named one of the top ten nonfiction books of 2016 by the Wall Street Journal. His latest work, The Kennedys in the World, explores the profound global impact of Jack, Bobby, and Ted Kennedy, highlighting their understanding of international cultures and ideologies and their efforts to shape America’s foreign policy. Haas resides in the United States and regularly contributes to foreign affairs and global policy discussions.
