Edgar Wachenheim III, founder, chairman, and CEO of Greenhaven Associates, has been a prominent figure on Wall Street for over 30 years, managing approximately $8.5 billion in funds for clients such as David Rockefeller, Amherst College, and Carnegie Hall. A Williams College and Harvard Business School graduate, he began his career as a security analyst at Goldman Sachs. He later led the Investment Division at Central National-Gottesman before founding Greenhaven Associates in 1987.
